As of April 23, 2025, there is no official confirmation that West Ham United has terminated Aaron Cresswell’s contract. In fact, recent reports indicate that Cresswell signed a one-year contract extension in June 2024, extending his tenure into an 11th season with the club .
Earlier in 2024, speculation arose about Cresswell’s potential departure after he reportedly rejected an initial contract offer, with clubs like Wolverhampton Wanderers expressing interest . However, he ultimately agreed to a new deal, reaffirming his commitment to West Ham. Despite facing increased competition for the left-back position and experiencing reduced playing time, Cresswell remained a valuable squad member, contributing both on and off the pitch.
Cresswell joined West Ham from Ipswich Town in 2014 and has since made over 330 appearances for the club. His experience and leadership have been instrumental in the team’s successes, including their Europa Conference League victory in 2023. Unless new developments emerge, Cresswell remains contracted with West Ham United.
