We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Vancouver Canucks goaltender Frank Caprice. Frank proudly wore the Canucks jersey for six seasons during the 1980s and early 1990s, appearing in 102 NHL games — all with Vancouver. Known for his steady presence in the crease and competitive spirit, he was a reliable backstop and a vital part of our team during his tenure.
Beyond the ice, Frank was a beloved teammate and a valued member of the Canucks family. His dedication, professionalism, and passion for the game left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of working with him. He was more than just a player; he was part of our community and our history.
Frank’s legacy continues to live on through the memories he created with fans, teammates, and staff. His contributions to the game and to our organization will not be forgotten.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Frank’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as we remember and honour his life.
Forever a Canuck. Rest in peace, Frank.
