TRENDING NEWS: Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith REJECTED reward as National Offensive Freshman of the Year Award.. Reason why..👇🏽👇🏽

I couldn’t find any information indicating that Ohio State’s wide receiver Jeremiah Smith rejected the National Offensive Freshman of the Year Award. In fact, Smith has been recognized with several honors for his outstanding freshman season, including the Big Ten’s Receiver of the Year and Freshman of the Year awards. He was also named a Freshman All-American by the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) .

However, Smith did not receive the FWAA Offensive Freshman of the Year award, which was awarded to South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers . Despite his impressive statistics—71 receptions for 1,227 yards and 14 touchdowns—Smith was overlooked for this national honor. In response, he graciously acknowledged Sellers’ performance and expressed respect for the selection process .

There is no evidence to suggest that Smith rejected any awards; rather, he was not selected for certain national honors despite his exceptional performance.
