
University of Kentucky point guard Georgia Amoore has been honored as one of five Ann Meyers Drysdale National Players of the Week and the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Player of the Week, as announced by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) and the SEC.
Amoore’s stellar performance includes averaging 29.5 points and 8.5 assists per game over the past week. She leads the Wildcats with 17.9 points and 7.4 assists per game this season.
These accolades add to Amoore’s impressive list of achievements this season, including being a Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Top Five Finalist and earning multiple SEC Player of the Week honors.
Amoore’s exceptional play has been pivotal in Kentucky’s recent successes, underscoring her invaluable role on the team.
