
The Big Ten has officially announced Ohio State women’s basketball opponents for the 2024-25 season, marking an exciting lineup with the league’s expansion to 18 teams. The Buckeyes will play an 18-game conference schedule, featuring a home-and-home series against Maryland, while facing all other Big Ten teams once.
Ohio State will host Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Oregon, Purdue, and Washington at Value City Arena. On the road, the Buckeyes will compete against Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, UCLA, USC, and Wisconsin. With the addition of four Pac-12 schools—Oregon, Washington, UCLA, and USC—the schedule includes some fresh matchups. Notably, Ohio State will face a tough road challenge against USC, which boasts star player JuJu Watkins and a top recruiting class.
The Buckeyes finished the 2023-24 season with a 26-6 record, winning the Big Ten regular-season title but suffering a tournament upset against Maryland. With last year’s disappointment fueling their motivation, Ohio State fans can look forward to another competitive season.
