Tottenham Hotspur have officially secured their Premier League status for the 2024/25 season, with their points tally now mathematically ensuring they cannot be relegated. While relegation was never a genuine threat for Ange Postecoglou’s side, confirmation brings a sense of relief and allows full focus to shift toward their battle for European qualification.

 

The North London club have experienced a season of highs and lows, with Postecoglou’s attacking philosophy earning plaudits early on before a string of injuries and inconsistent form disrupted their momentum. Despite those challenges, Spurs have maintained a position in the top half of the table throughout, and now, with just a handful of games remaining, the club can start planning for next season with confidence.

 

Securing safety may seem like a formality for a club of Tottenham’s stature, but in the Premier League, nothing can be taken for granted.
