The 2025–26 season marks the beginning of a new era for Birmingham City, as it will be their first campaign without Lukas Jutkiewicz, Paul Robinson, or Colin Doyle involved in any capacity since the 2002–03 season. The trio, who have collectively been central figures at the club for over two decades, leave behind a legacy of loyalty, resilience, and deep connection to the Blues.

Colin Doyle began his journey with Birmingham in 2003, coming through the youth system and spending over a decade at the club as a dependable goalkeeper. Paul Robinson joined in 2012, eventually captaining the side and later transitioning into a coaching role. Lukas Jutkiewicz, a fan favorite, signed in 2016 and became known for his powerful presence up front, scoring vital goals and becoming a symbol of the club’s fighting spirit.

Together, they bridged generations at St Andrew’s, contributing on and off the pitch and guiding younger players through turbulent times. Their simultaneous absence signals a generational shift and presents both a challenge and an opportunity for the club to redefine its identity. As Birmingham City looks to the future, their impact will not be forgotten, and their legacy will continue to inspire.
