Terrible news for Nascar after Kyle Buschs shocking statement.. Read more..

In a recent development, NASCAR driver Kyle Busch has issued an apology following a controversial incident at the Daytona 500. During the race, Busch was involved in a multi-car wreck on Lap 186, which he attributed to fellow driver Joey Logano. In his post-race comments, Busch expressed frustration, stating, “Looks like the fastest car got in a hurry to get to the wreck,” referring to Logano’s actions. He also criticized NASCAR officials, claiming a misunderstanding of their own rules regarding damaged vehicles.

In response, NASCAR’s Senior Vice President of Competition, Elton Sawyer, addressed Busch’s remarks, suggesting that Busch may have misunderstood the rules. Sawyer clarified the procedures related to the Damaged Vehicle Policy (DVP), emphasizing that the rules had not changed significantly from the previous year. He explained that once a vehicle is towed to the garage, teams have one opportunity to return to the track and meet minimum speed requirements within three consecutive green laps. Failure to do so results in elimination from the event.

This incident has sparked discussions within the motorsports community about rule enforcement and driver conduct. As the season progresses, both NASCAR officials and drivers will likely seek to ensure clearer communication and understanding of race regulations to prevent similar controversies in the future.
