SHOCKING NEWS: Jim NAGI has officially rejected new contract offer with the Oklahoma and.. Reason Why..

Jim Nagy, recently appointed as the University of Oklahoma’s (OU) football team’s general manager, has reportedly declined a new contract offer from the university. Nagy, who joined OU on February 26, 2025, signed a three-year deal with an annual salary starting at $750,000 for the 2025 season, increasing by $100,000 each subsequent year, totaling $2.55 million over the contract’s duration.

Prior to his role at OU, Nagy served as the executive director of the Senior Bowl, and his compensation package at OU positions him among the highest-paid general managers in college football.

Specific reasons for Nagy’s decision to reject the new contract offer have not been publicly disclosed. The university’s Board of Regents approved his initial contract, and Nagy has expressed intentions to expand the football staff, indicating a commitment to enhancing the program. However, without official statements from Nagy or OU, the precise factors influencing his decision remain speculative.
