
Penn State has secured a strong 2025 recruiting class, signing 27 student-athletes during the early signing period. This class is ranked 17th nationally and fifth in the Big Ten, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
The class features a balanced mix of 14 offensive and 13 defensive players, hailing from 10 different states. Notably, 20 of these recruits are from Pennsylvania or neighboring states, emphasizing Penn State’s regional recruiting strength.
Key offensive additions include four-star offensive lineman Malachi Goodman from Paramus Catholic in New Jersey, and quarterback Bekkem Kritza from Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Florida. The wide receiver group is bolstered by four-star recruits Lyrick Samuel from Erasmus Hall in New York and Koby Howard from Chaminade-Madonna Prep.
Defensively, the Nittany Lions have strengthened their secondary with four-star cornerbacks Daryus Dixson from Mater Dei High School in California and Jahmir Joseph from St. Joseph Regional in New Jersey. Additionally, linebacker LaVar Arrington II, son of Penn State legend LaVar Arrington, joins the team from Charter Oak High School in California.
This recruiting class underscores Penn State’s commitment to building a competitive roster by attracting top talent across various positions.
