
Patty Gasso has built a dynasty at Oklahoma, cementing herself as one of the greatest coaches in NCAA softball history. In 30 seasons (1995–present), she has compiled an astonishing 1,515–352–2 (.811) record, making her the winningest active Division I softball coach by percentage and third all-time in total wins. Gasso has led the Sooners to eight national championships (2000, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024), tying her with legendary Arizona coach Mike Candrea (1986–2021) for the most in Division I history.
