The Las Vegas Raiders have officially signed wide receiver Gabe Davis, formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars, to a four-year contract worth $39 million. The deal brings the talented pass-catcher to the Silver and Black as the team continues to bolster its offensive arsenal ahead of the 2025 NFL season.
Davis, 26, was surprisingly released by the Jaguars after just one season, despite putting up solid numbers. He recorded 62 receptions for 860 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2024, proving his value as a deep threat and reliable target. The Raiders, in need of additional support alongside Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers, jumped at the opportunity to add a dynamic playmaker to their receiving corps.
Originally drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2020, Davis is known for his big-play ability and knack for making contested catches. Raiders General Manager Tom Telesco expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, calling Davis “a proven competitor who fits our vision perfectly.”
With this signing, Las Vegas signals its intent to compete aggressively in the AFC West. Davis is expected to make an immediate impact in head coach Antonio Pierce’s revamped offense.
Further updates will be provided as the team finalizes roster adjustments.
