In recent NHL transactions, the Philadelphia Flyers have traded several players to the Toronto Maple Leafs:
1. Scott Laughton: On March 7, 2025, after 12 seasons with the Flyers, Laughton was sent to the Maple Leafs. In exchange, the Flyers received forward Nikita Grebenkin and a top-10 protected first-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft. The Flyers also retained 50% of Laughton’s remaining contract.
2. Andrei Kuzmenko: Earlier that day, the Flyers traded forward Andrei Kuzmenko to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft. The Flyers will retain 50% of Kuzmenko’s remaining salary.
3. Bernie Parent: In May 1973, the Flyers acquired goaltender Bernie Parent from the Maple Leafs in exchange for rights to Bernie Parent, a 2nd-round pick in 1973, and future considerations.
These moves highlight the dynamic nature of NHL team rosters, with teams continually adjusting their lineups to enhance performance.
