In a major boost for Wrexham AFC, star striker Paul Mullin has put an end to speculation about his future by reaffirming his commitment to the club. According to Sky Sports, Mullin has turned down a lucrative four-year contract offer from Championship side Coventry City, stating, “I’m not leaving.”
The 29-year-old forward, who has been instrumental in Wrexham’s rise under the ownership of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, has instead chosen to extend his stay at STōK Racecourse. Mullin revealed his decision was driven by his desire to remain a leader at the club and help guide Wrexham to further success. “This club means everything to me. I believe in the project here, and I want to be part of the journey ahead,” he said.
Wrexham fans will be thrilled by the news, especially as the club eyes back-to-back promotions following their recent climb to League One. Mullin’s goal-scoring prowess and leadership on and off the pitch have made him a fan favorite, and his renewed commitment signals strong intent from the club as they prepare for the 2025–26 season.
