NEWS: Kyle Larson will serve as the practice & qualifying driver for the All-Star Race and as the reserve driver for both the All-Star and Coca-Cola 600 weekends.. See why, full detailsšŸ‘‡

Hendrick Motorsports has confirmed that NASCAR star Kyle Larson will serve as the practice and qualifying driver for the upcoming All-Star Race, and also act as the reserve driver for both the All-Star and Coca-Cola 600 weekends. The announcement comes as Larson prepares for a historic double-duty effort, attempting to race in both the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 on the same day—known as “The Double.”

With scheduling and travel logistics tight, Larson’s participation in all practice sessions is not guaranteed. As a precaution, Hendrick Motorsports has decided that he will handle initial duties for the All-Star Race to ensure proper car setup and team alignment. Should any conflicts or delays arise from his Indy 500 commitments, Larson will also be available to step in as a reserve driver for both major NASCAR events.

ā€œThis is a once-in-a-lifetime challenge, but I’m fully committed to both teams,ā€ Larson said. ā€œI want to compete at the highest level in both races and support my crew every step of the way.ā€

Fans will be watching closely as Larson attempts one of motorsports’ most ambitious feats—racing 1,100 miles in a single day.
