News Catastrophic CNN: Carnival Jubilee Capsized Near Galveston, Reports of Feared Missing…

Recent reports circulating on social media claim that the Carnival Jubilee cruise ship has capsized near Galveston, Texas, with many passengers feared missing. However, these reports appear to be unsubstantiated and lack confirmation from credible news sources. The only recent incident involving the Carnival Jubilee occurred approximately three weeks ago, when a small sailboat named “Knota Lady” collided with the docked cruise ship in Galveston.

The sailboat reportedly lost engine power and became entangled in the cruise ship’s moorings, resulting in minor damage to the ship’s hull. No injuries were reported, and the Carnival Jubilee departed on schedule for its Caribbean voyage.

Additionally, about a year ago, the Carnival Jubilee was involved in a rescue operation, saving two men whose boat had sunk in the Gulf of Mexico. The men were found using a kayak to stay afloat and were brought aboard the cruise ship for medical evaluation and assistance.

As of now, there are no credible reports confirming that the Carnival Jubilee has capsized or that passengers are missing. It is advisable to rely on official statements from Carnival Cruise Line and reputable news organizations for accurate information regarding such incidents.
