As of March 8, 2025, there is no credible information indicating that Patty Gasso, the esteemed head coach of the University of Oklahoma softball team, has terminated her contract.
On the contrary, Gasso recently received a significant contract extension and pay raise. In February 2025, she was also appointed as the head coach for the USA Softball Women’s National Team, a role she will fulfill alongside her duties at Oklahoma.
Given these developments, it appears that reports of Gasso’s contract termination are unfounded.
