Recent reports suggest that the Green Bay Packers are finalizing a deal to acquire elite wide receiver Stefon Diggs, aiming to provide quarterback Jordan Love with a top-tier offensive weapon. Diggs, who is coming off a torn ACL after playing just seven games with the Houston Texans in 2024, is projected to have a market value of approximately $13.7 million per season.
The Packers’ interest in bolstering their receiving corps aligns with their commitment to supporting Love, especially after his impressive performance in the 2024 season, which earned him a four-year, $220 million contract extension—the largest in NFL history at the time.
While the deal is reported to be 99.9% complete, official confirmation from the Packers is pending. If finalized, Diggs’ addition would significantly enhance the Packers’ offensive capabilities, offering Love a proven veteran capable of making impactful plays within Matt LaFleur’s system.
