JUST IN: Azamara Cruises Announces Shore Excursions for Maiden Voyage in GREENLAND……………

Azamara Cruises has unveiled an exciting lineup of shore excursions for its highly anticipated maiden voyage to Greenland. Set to depart this summer, the journey will offer guests immersive experiences highlighting the natural beauty, cultural heritage, and unique lifestyle of this remote Arctic destination.

Among the curated excursions are guided hikes to glaciers, boat tours through iceberg-laden fjords, and visits to traditional Inuit communities. Guests can expect intimate encounters with local traditions, including drum dancing performances and tastings of Greenlandic cuisine. Wildlife enthusiasts may also have the chance to spot whales, seals, and arctic foxes in their natural habitats.

“We are thrilled to bring our guests to Greenland for the first time,” said Carol Cabezas, President of Azamara. “Our shore excursions are designed to foster meaningful connections with the destinations we visit, and Greenland offers a truly one-of-a-kind opportunity.”

Azamara’s small-ship format allows access to lesser-known ports, such as Qaqortoq and Ilulissat, ensuring a more personal and off-the-beaten-path experience. The line’s destination-focused philosophy continues to set it apart in the luxury cruise market, and the Greenland voyage promises to be a standout in its 2025 itinerary.
