Parkinson, who took charge in 2021, played a pivotal role in Wrexham’s remarkable return to the Football League and their continued climb through the English football pyramid.

In a heartfelt statement released today, Parkinson said, “It’s been an incredible journey, one I’ll always treasure. But the time feels right for a new chapter—for both myself and the club.” The news comes as a shock to fans, especially after the success and global attention Wrexham has garnered under the ownership of Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
