There is no information indicating that Jason Nolf, the former Penn State wrestling star, terminated a contract with Penn State following a $54.5 million deal proposal. In fact, Nolf completed his collegiate wrestling career at Penn State in 2019, securing three NCAA championships and graduating with a 117-4 record.

In August 2024, Nolf announced his retirement from competitive wrestling. He shared plans to move to Austin, Texas, to focus on growing his business, training and competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and starting a wrestling club at Round Rock High School.

Prior to his retirement, Nolf participated in several grappling events, including the inaugural Craig Jones Invitational in Las Vegas in August 2024. This event featured a $3 million purse, with $1 million awarded to the winner in each weight class.

It’s important to note that Nolf’s association with Penn State concluded with his graduation in 2019, and there have been no reports of any contractual agreements or terminations involving the university since then.
