I don’t even know where to begin – this Azamara cruise was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The ship felt dated and cramped, more like a floating retirement home than a luxury vessel. We were promised “destination immersion,” but half the ports were canceled due to “weather,” while other ships were docking just fine. Excursions were overpriced chaos – disorganized, rushed, and sometimes even dangerous. One fellow passenger slipped on a poorly maintained trail and broke their wrist!
The food? Bland, repetitive, and served cold more often than not. “Fine dining” felt more like cafeteria food with a fancy menu. And let’s talk about the staff – half of them looked miserable, the other half ignored us completely. I get that not every cruise can be perfect, but for the price we paid, this was unacceptable.
To top it all off, our room reeked of mildew, and we had to practically beg to be moved. Guest services acted like we were the problem. I’m not usually one to rant, but this trip left me furious. Save your money, your time, and your sanity – avoid Azamara like the plague. You’ve been warned.
