When asked if he had a message for Luka Dončić, Dallas Mavericks General Manager Nico Harrison didn’t hesitate. “Luka knows how much we believe in him. He’s the cornerstone of our franchise, not just because of his talent, but because of the passion and competitiveness he brings every night. My message to Luka would simply be: keep being you. We’ve built this team with your strengths in mind, and everything we do is about giving you the best chance to succeed — and win.”
Harrison continued, “We know the expectations are high, and no one holds himself to a higher standard than Luka does. But he doesn’t have to carry it all by himself. We’ve added pieces, we’ve learned from past seasons, and we’re all in this together. Whether it’s on the court or off, we support him 100 percent.”
He also emphasized the long-term vision. “Luka’s just entering his prime. We’re focused on building something sustainable — not just a team that wins, but a culture that thrives. We want him to know that we’re in this for the long haul, and we’re going to do everything we can to bring a championship to Dallas with him leading the way.”
