Recent reports indicate that veteran playmaker Ben Hunt has signed a two-year contract with the Brisbane Broncos, returning to the club where he began his NRL career. The deal is reportedly valued at approximately $600,000 per season. 
Hunt’s decision to rejoin the Broncos comes after his departure from the St George Illawarra Dragons, where he served as captain. The move reunites him with Brisbane, a club he joined as a teenager and represented in 187 NRL games between 2009 and 2017.
At 34, Hunt brings a wealth of experience to the Broncos, having played over 300 NRL games and represented Queensland in State of Origin matches.
