In a commanding 82-58 victory over the No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers, No. 15 Kentucky Wildcats’ sophomore center Clara Strack delivered a historic performance, setting multiple school records. Strack achieved a perfect shooting night, making all 11 of her field-goal attempts to score 23 points, establishing a new school record for single-game field-goal percentage (minimum of 10 attempts). She also dominated the boards with 15 rebounds and added three blocks to her stat line.

This game marked Strack’s 13th double-double of the season and solidified her status as a defensive powerhouse. With her three blocks against Tennessee, she set a new single-season program record for blocks, reaching 67 and surpassing the previous record of 66 held by Victoria Dunlap from the 2009-10 season. Earlier in the season, Strack also set Kentucky’s single-game block record with an eight-block performance against Ole Miss on February 10.

Strack’s contributions have been instrumental in Kentucky’s defensive success, with the team now holding the program’s single-season block record at 182 blocks, surpassing the previous record of 181 set by the 2012-13 team. Her remarkable development since transferring from Virginia Tech has been a key factor in the Wildcats’ strong season, as they aim for a deep postseason run.
