BREAKING; West Ham board announces suspension of Graham Potter…

West Ham United have announced the suspension of manager Graham Potter, effective immediately, following a series of disappointing results that have left the club perilously close to the relegation zone. The decision comes after the Hammers’ recent 1-1 draw against Southampton, which extended their winless streak to five matches.

Potter, who took over from Julen Lopetegui in January 2025, was brought in to stabilize the team and steer them away from the lower end of the Premier League table. However, under his leadership, West Ham has struggled to find consistent form, securing only four wins in 14 league games. The team’s current position at 17th place, just above the relegation zone, has raised concerns among fans and the club’s hierarchy.

In a brief statement, the club expressed gratitude for Potter’s efforts but emphasized the need for immediate action to ensure Premier League survival. Assistant coach Mark Phillips will assume interim managerial duties while the search for a permanent replacement begins.

This development marks another chapter in West Ham’s turbulent season, with the club now facing a critical period as they aim to secure their top-flight status.
