In a rare moment of unity and joy, players from both the Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames paused their competitive edge to celebrate Canucks forward Brock Boeser after a surprise personal announcement stole the spotlight. Boeser’s wife revealed to both teams that she is 12 weeks pregnant—with twins—during a post-practice gathering, turning the rink into a scene of cheers, hugs, and laughter.
The announcement was made in a lighthearted fashion, with Boeser’s wife holding up a custom-made sign that read: “Two more rookies joining the roster… and Brock still can’t change a diaper!” The room erupted in laughter, with players poking fun at Boeser while offering their heartfelt congratulations.
