In a major recruiting win, the Michigan Wolverines have secured a commitment from one of their top 2025 targets, four-star defensive back Jamari Watson. The Michigan native made his decision official on Monday afternoon, giving Jim Harbaugh’s staff a major boost on the recruiting trail.
Watson, ranked among the top 100 players nationally and the No. 7 cornerback in the class, chose Michigan over offers from Ohio State, Alabama, and LSU. Standing at 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, he brings elite speed, instinctive coverage skills, and a physical presence in the secondary. His commitment marks the Wolverines’ fourth addition to their 2025 defensive class, which is shaping up to be one of the strongest in the Big Ten.
