Aaron Rodgers Addresses Rumors and Retirement Plans Amid Uncertain NFL Future
NFL star quarterback Aaron Rodgers has broken his silence regarding his football future, addressing both swirling rumors and the possibility of retirement. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers made it clear that while he’s keeping all options open, football is currently not his top priority.
“I’m open to everything and attached to nothing,” Rodgers said, noting that he’s been dealing with significant personal matters since January. The 41-year-old recently parted ways with the New York Jets and revealed disappointment with how the team handled his release. According to Rodgers, he traveled across the country expecting a meaningful conversation, only to be informed minutes into the meeting that the Jets were moving on.
Rodgers also pushed back against reports that he was demanding a high salary, clarifying that he was willing to play for as little as $10 million. He confirmed that discussions have occurred with several teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Minnesota Vikings, and New York Giants, but stressed that no decisions have been made.
For now, Rodgers remains non-committal, focusing on his personal life and taking the time needed before making any final call about his NFL
future.
