BREAKING NEWS: Luka Doncic Blasts NBA Officiating After Lakers’ Controversial Loss to Nets… read more

Luka Doncic voiced his frustration over officiating after the Los Angeles Lakers’ 111-108 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, calling the refereeing “not fair” during his postgame press conference. Doncic, who finished with a triple-double (22 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists), was visibly upset throughout the game, receiving a technical foul for arguing calls.

The Lakers’ concerns extend beyond just this game. Fans and analysts have pointed out a trend of questionable officiating against the team, with a striking free throw disparity—Brooklyn attempted 30 free throws compared to the Lakers’ 19, with L.A. only shooting two free throws in the first half. Doncic was also involved in an incident where he appeared to be pushed by Nets’ Nic Claxton, yet no foul was called, fueling further backlash from fans online.

This marks the third consecutive game where Lakers players, including LeBron James, have been on the wrong end of controversial calls. Some fans believe the NBA has an “anti-Lakers agenda,” while others demand more accountability from referees.

Despite the frustration, Doncic refrained from making direct accusations but hinted that the issues were evident for all to see: “I’m not gonna say anything, but everyone saw the game and knows what happened,”

he said.
