As of June 2024, standout outfielder Taylor Ebbs transferred from the University of Kentucky to the University of Missouri, not the University of Oklahoma. 
During her tenure at Kentucky, Ebbs showcased impressive skills, achieving a career-best .311 batting average over 39 games in the 2024 season, along with eight home runs and 31 RBIs. Her consistent performance and experience in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) are anticipated to bolster Missouri’s lineup in the upcoming seasons.
Regarding the Oklahoma Sooners, their 2024 transfer class included notable additions such as pitchers Sam Landry and Isabella Smith, catcher Isabela Emerling, infielder Ailana Agbayani, and outfielder Abby Dayton, as they aimed to maintain their competitive edge in collegiate softball.
