As the season comes to a close, it’s hard not to get emotional saying goodbye to one of the most consistent and tight-knit infields we’ve seen in years. Jeter, Mitch, Benny, and Cole have anchored this team with grit, chemistry, and reliability, taking the field together game after game. In a sport where lineups constantly shift, this crew remained rock solid — a testament to their skill, health, and trust in one another.
Each player brought something special: Jeter’s leadership and smooth glove at shortstop, Mitch’s versatility and hustle, Benny’s calm and confident presence at the hot corner, and Cole’s command and energy around the bag.
