In a thrilling display of skill and teamwork, Cleveland Cavaliers’ stars Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley clinched the 2025 NBA All-Star Skills Challenge title on Saturday night. The event, held at the Chase Center in San Francisco, showcased the duo’s exceptional abilities as they navigated a series of basketball drills designed to test precision, agility, and coordination.

The Skills Challenge featured four teams:

Team Cavaliers: Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley

Team Warriors: Draymond Green and Moses Moody

Team Spurs: Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama

Team Rooks: Alex Sarr and Zaccharie Risacher

In the final round, Team Cavaliers delivered an impressive performance, completing the course in exactly one minute. Their victory was solidified when Team Warriors faced challenges, particularly with Draymond Green struggling during the chest pass segment, which hindered their overall time.

A notable moment in the competition was the disqualification of Team Spurs. Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama attempted to exploit a loophole by rapidly throwing up shots without genuine attempts to score, aiming to advance more quickly. This tactic led to their disqualification for not making valid shot attempts, a decision that was met with boos from the audience.

This victory marks Mobley’s second Skills Challenge win, having previously secured the title in 2022 alongside teammates Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen. Mitchell and Mobley’s synergy and precision throughout the event were instrumental in their team’s success, underscoring the Cavaliers’ strong presence in All-Star Weekend festivities.
