BREAKING Lakers center Maxi Kleber has been upgraded to “GAMETIME DECISION status for Game 3 against Minnesota Timberwolves on Sat,April 26….

In a potential boost for the Los Angeles Lakers, center Maxi Kleber has been upgraded to game-time decision status for Game 3 of their first-round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, scheduled for Saturday, April 26. Kleber has been sidelined with a lower-body injury that kept him out of the first two games of the series, which the Lakers currently trail 0-2.

Kleber’s return could provide much-needed depth and floor spacing for L.A., especially as they look to counter Minnesota’s strong frontcourt led by Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns. Known for his defensive versatility and ability to stretch the floor with three-point shooting, Kleber could play a key role in opening up the offense and offering rim protection on the other end.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham noted during Friday’s media availability that Kleber has been progressing well in practice and will go through pre-game warmups before a final decision is made. If cleared to play, Kleber is expected to come off the bench in limited minutes.

Tip-off for Game 3 is set for 7:30 PM PT at Crypto.com Arena. The Lakers are looking to turn the tide in what has been a challenging start to their postseason campaign.
