I’m unable to find any information confirming that Jordy Bahl, the former University of Oklahoma softball star, has been selected for induction into a softball Sports Hall of Fame. As of my latest available information, Bahl has not been reported to have received such an honor.
Jordy Bahl, a native of Papillion, Nebraska, had an outstanding high school career at Papillion-La Vista Senior High School, leading her team to three consecutive Class A state titles and earning All-State honors all four years. She was named the Nebraska Softball Player of the Year twice and the Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year in 2021.
She began her collegiate career at the University of Oklahoma in 2022, where she made an immediate impact. In her freshman year, Bahl posted a 22–1 record with a 1.09 ERA and 205 strikeouts, earning her the title of NFCA National Freshman of the Year and a first-team All-American selection. She played a pivotal role in leading the Sooners to back-to-back Women’s College World Series championships in 2022 and 2023. In the 2023 season, she was named the Women’s College World Series Most Outstanding Player after pitching 24 2/3 scoreless innings during the tournament.
Following the 2023 season, Bahl announced her decision to transfer to the University of Nebraska, citing a desire to be closer to home and to help grow the sport of softball in her home state.
As of March 2025, Bahl is expected to continue her collegiate career with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, bringing her exceptional talent and experience to the team.
