In breaking news that has thrilled AFL fans nationwide, Collingwood legend Dane Swan has officially been inducted into the Collingwood Hall of Fame. The announcement came during a special club ceremony honoring his extraordinary career, which spanned over a decade and left an indelible mark on the game.

Swan, a 2011 Brownlow Medalist, three-time Copeland Trophy winner, and key member of the 2010 premiership team, is widely regarded as one of the most dynamic midfielders of the modern era. Known for his toughness, footy IQ, and resilience, he played 258 games for the Magpies and built a legacy that continues to inspire young players.

Adding to the celebrations, Netflix has confirmed a full-length documentary chronicling Swan’s journey — from a rough-around-the-edges rookie to one of Collingwood’s most beloved icons. The film, set to be released later this year, will feature exclusive interviews, never-before-seen footage, and a deep dive into the highs and lows of his personal and professional life.

“This is a huge honour,” Swan said. “Collingwood is my family. To be recognised this way means the world.”

Fans can expect a raw, honest, and emotional tribute to a true AFL great.
