Before the world knew him as a Beatle, Paul McCartney was just a wide-eyed kid in Liverpool, strumming a battered guitar and dreaming of rock and roll glory. His hero wasn’t a bassist it was the wild, stylish, and electrifying Eddie Cochran. McCartney never set out to hold down the low end of a band. He wanted the spotlight, the solos, the fire that came with six strings and a vision. But fate had other plans. The bass found him, and he made it sing like nobody else ever had. Still, Paul never lost his deep love for the guitar—or for those who pushed it to its limits. And when he saw Jimi Hendrix just days after Sgt. Pepper was released tear into the Beatles’ masterpiece in front of a stunned London crowd, McCartney was transported. It wasn’t just a performance. It was a moment of pure, soul-shaking awe. He never forgot that night. Because when a legend looks up to another, it’s no longer about fame or charts it’s about raw, shared brilliance…..

One of the most powerful moments from Back to the Beginning is coming to streaming. Yungblud’s stunning cover of Black Sabbath’s “Changes” — performed with Nuno Bettencourt, Frank Bello, II of Sleep Token, and Adam Wakeman — is getting an official release this Friday, July 18. Originally dedicated to the late Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota, the emotional tribute became an instant highlight of the historic farewell concert at Villa Park. Now, Yungblud is immortalizing that moment, with proceeds going to Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn’s Children’s Hospice. “This was hands down one of the biggest moments of my life,” Yungblud shared. “To honor one of my heroes in front of that crowd — and now help raise money for causes that matter — that’s what rock ‘n’ roll is all about.” “Changes” drops Friday. Don’t miss it.…

LIAM GALLAGHER jokes about COLDPLAY’s kiss-cam incident, saying that OASIS won’t judge CHEATERS at their shows. “Do we have any lovebirds in the house?” Liam asked the audience during Oasis’ last Heaton Park concert in Manchester on Sunday (July 20th). “Don’t worry, we don’t got any of that Coldplay snidey f*cking camera sh*t. Doesn’t matter to us who you’re f*cking mingling with, or tingling with, or f*ngering with. It’s none of our f*cking business.” “This one’s for the lovebirds, anyway,” he added before the band launched into “Slide Away”….

“Jack Black Became Ozzy in a Tribute That Sent Shockwaves Through the Rock World – And You Won’t Believe Who Was in the Band!” In a night no one saw coming, Jack Black took the stage… and became Ozzy Osbourne. No costumes. No gimmicks. Just raw screams, wild hair-whips, and the burning soul of rock igniting under blinding lights. But what left the crowd frozen? The backing band behind him—were teenagers. Fifteen, sixteen years old, most of them had never even set foot in a studio. Yet together, they tore through “Mr. Crowley” like demons unleashed, every riff and wail dripping with chaos and fire. No one was pretending. They were the music—shouting as if they were the ones in pain, in love, in rebellion. This wasn’t a performance. It was a resurrection. The heart of rock, pounding once more—and you have to see it to believe it….

Sting’s album “The Bridge” is intimate (“The Hills on the Border”) and introspective (Harmony Road”) with moments of declarative urgency (“Rushing Water”) and delicate emotion (“For Her Love).” It’s also rife with motivic exploration (“If It’s Love”) and playful fancy (“Captain Bateman’s Basement”). I took these photos during the recording sessions for this album in the isolated times of November 2020. I feel like the pictures go some way towards capturing what I can only describe as the bubble of light that surrounded these sessions. The Telegraph would later write the following about this album: “‘The Bridge’ is out of time yet timeless, pure pop class…..

“For Linda…” — Paul McCartney Brings Daughter Mary Onstage for Heartbreaking Tribute That Silences the Crowd No one expected it. In the middle of his sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena, Paul McCartney paused. The spotlight shifted — not to a fellow musician, but to his daughter, Mary McCartney, stepping gently onto the stage. Clutching a microphone, Mary whispered, “This is for Mum.” Then, with Paul at the piano, they began to sing “The Long and Winding Road” — not as icons, but as a grieving husband and daughter. Behind them, old film reels of Linda McCartney flickered — her laughter, her lens, her love. The audience stood still. No phones. No noise. Just tears. When the final note faded, Paul kissed Mary’s forehead and whispered, “She’s here.” The entire arena erupted into sobs and silence. It wasn’t a concert anymore. It was a memory made sacred — and the purest love song Paul ever gave the world..…

  • SECRETARIAT🐴🇺🇲 “He’s 1,100 pounds of baby fat, eats too much and too often. The only reason he doesn’t eat more is because he’s too busy sleeping. He only does what he wants to do, exactly when he wants to do it. He lays against the back of the starting gate like he’s in a hammock in the Caribbean. When he finally does get out of the gate, it takes him forever to find his stride.” Lucien Laurin, Secretariat’s trainer🏆🏆 Did You Know? Secretariat wasn’t just an extraordinary horse because of his speed,he was built differently. His heart was three times the size of an average horse’s heart, giving him a massive cardiovascular advantage. But that wasn’t all. His stride angle, the distance between his front and rear legs as they stretched during each step, was much wider than most other racehorses. Secretariat’s stride angle was a massive 110°,much greater than the typical 80° to 90° seen in most horses. And here’s where it gets impressive: researchers found that every degree a horse increases their stride angle results in a 2% increase in stride length. This means that with just a 10° increase, a horse like Secretariat could cover 20% more ground with each stride! A true physical marvel, his body gave him the ability to fly across the track in ways no other horse could. It’s no wonder Secretariat became the legend he is,his unique physical traits made him a one-of-a-kind racehorse!
