Birmingham City are set for a major squad reshuffle this summer following their relegation to League One. Midfielder Gary Gardner is another player whose time at Birmingham may be up. A solid performer over several seasons, Gardner has found game time limited recently due to tactical changes and competition for places. With his contract up, both parties may decide to part ways amicably.
Finally, youngster Jordan James is attracting interest from Premier League and top Championship sides. Although Birmingham would prefer to keep him, a substantial offer could tempt them to sell and reinvest the funds. Losing James would be a blow, but his departure could spark a broader rebuild.
