BREAKING NEWS: Michigan Wolverines football team Reacts in Shock as Coach Sherrone Moore makes Surprising statement Announcing that right tackle, Andrew Sprague has been made new….

In a move that has shocked fans and players alike, Michigan Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore announced today that true freshman Andrew Sprague will be the team’s new starting right tackle heading into the 2025 season. The announcement, made during a post-spring practice press conference, sent ripples through the football community, as few expected the 6’8”, 310-pound lineman to make such a rapid rise up the depth chart.

“Andrew’s maturity, work ethic, and physical tools are beyond his years,” Moore said. “He earned this. Every single day in practice, he showed he’s ready to protect our quarterback and anchor the right side.”

Veteran teammates expressed both surprise and support for the decision. “He’s young, but he plays like a seasoned vet,” said senior guard Giovanni El-Hadi. “He’s going to be special.”

Sprague, a highly touted recruit out of Missouri, remained humble, stating, “I’m just here to help the team win. I’ll keep working every day to prove I deserve this.”

With high expectations for the Wolverines this season, all eyes will now be on Sprague as he steps into one of the most critical roles on the offensive line.
