In a historic milestone for Wigan Warriors, winger Liam Marshall has been inducted into the club’s Hall of Fame, becoming the first active player to receive this honor.
This accolade coincides with the release of a comprehensive three-part documentary, We Are Wigan Warriors, which aired on Sky Sports and is now available on Netflix. The series offers an in-depth look at the club’s triumphant 2024 Grand Slam season, highlighting Marshall’s significant contributions both on and off the field.
Marshall’s journey with Wigan began in 2017, and he has since become a cornerstone of the team. His exceptional performance in 2024, where he led the Super League with 27 tries, earned him a spot in the Super League Dream Team. This achievement was further solidified by a new four-year contract extension, ensuring his presence in the squad until the end of the 2028 season.

In February, he experienced the joy of becoming a father, followed by the sorrow of his mother’s passing the very next day.
