
State College, PA – April 7, 2025 – In a heartbreaking turn of events, a plane crash has claimed the lives of several key members of the Penn State Nittany Lions basketball team, including top players and the team manager. The crash occurred late Sunday evening as the team was returning from an away game in the Midwest. Authorities confirmed that no survivors were found at the crash site, located just outside a remote area in Ohio.
Among the victims are standout players Jalen Davis and Ryan Thompson, who were considered some of the team’s top prospects for the upcoming season. The team’s beloved manager, Sam Parker, was also confirmed dead in the tragic incident. The players were returning to State College when the aircraft went down under unknown circumstances.
