Florida State University is excited to announce that former Seminoles star and NFL legend, Warrick Dunn, has returned to his alma mater as the new Director of Player Development. Dunn, who played for FSU from 1993 to 1996 and went on to an illustrious 12-season career in the NFL, will now play a key role in shaping the next generation of Seminole football players.

Dunn’s impact off the field has been just as significant as his on-field accomplishments. Known for his philanthropy and leadership, Dunn established the Warrick Dunn Charities, which focuses on providing affordable housing and life skills to single-parent families. He is also committed to mentoring young athletes, helping them navigate both their athletic careers and personal lives.

As Director of Player Development, Dunn will work closely with players to enhance their academic, athletic, and personal growth, ensuring they are prepared for life after football. “I am honored to return to Florida State and give back to the program that helped shape me both as a player and as a person,” said Dunn. “I look forward to working with the players, coaching staff, and the entire Florida State community to continue the legacy of excellence.”

Dunn’s appointment is seen as a significant boost to the Seminoles’ future as he blends his football expertise and personal commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes.
