Cydney Sanders rejected new contract offer with the Oklahoma Softball.. Reason why..

As of February 25, 2025, there is no official information indicating that Cydney Sanders has rejected a new contract offer from Oklahoma Softball.

Sanders, a standout first baseman, transferred from Arizona State to Oklahoma in July 2022. During her freshman year at Arizona State, she earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honors, leading the team with 21 home runs and 63 RBIs.

In her subsequent tenure with the Sooners, Sanders continued to excel, achieving a .714 batting average over a four-game stretch in March 2024 and earning both NFCA National Player of the Week and Big 12 Player of the Week honors. Given her significant contributions and accolades, any decision regarding contract negotiations would be closely monitored. However, without official statements or credible reports, the reasons behind any potential contract rejection remain speculative.
