In a dramatic escalation of tensions between two NASCAR drivers, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has reportedly promised Carson Hocevar a physical confrontation once they return to the United States. The simmering feud, which began on the track and has since spilled into post-race interviews and social media exchanges, reached a boiling point over the weekend during an international event.

Witnesses say the altercation started after a heated on-track incident, where Stenhouse felt Hocevar raced him too aggressively, making contact that potentially compromised Stenhouse’s car. While no punches were thrown at the time, tempers flared in the garage area, prompting officials to intervene.

After the race, Stenhouse, visibly frustrated, didn’t hold back in an interview:

“If he wants to race like that, he better be ready for what’s coming when we get back to the States. I owe him one, and I’ll settle it face to face.”

Hocevar, who has gained a reputation as a hard-nosed competitor in the Cup Series, responded with a mix of sarcasm and defiance, tweeting, “Guess I’ve got a welcome party waiting for me in the U.S. Can’t wait.”

NASCAR officials have not yet commented on the situation, but sources say they are monitoring it closely and will issue warnings if necessary. With upcoming races on U.S. soil, the possibility of a garage-area clash is looming large.

Fans have taken to social media to debate who’s in the right, with many praising Stenhouse’s old-school toughness while others defend Hocevar’s aggressive style as part of modern racing.

As the NASCAR season heats up, all eyes will be on the next race — not just for the competition on the track, but for the fireworks that may erupt off it.
