Ella Parker, a sophomore utility player for the University of Oklahoma’s softball team, has been recognized as the 2025 National Player of the Year, underscoring her exceptional talent and leadership. Parker’s remarkable performance has been pivotal in the Sooners’ pursuit of their fifth consecutive national championship.
Throughout the 2025 season, Parker has demonstrated outstanding offensive prowess, leading the team with a .415 batting average, 13 home runs, and 62 RBIs. Her consistency at the plate and versatility in the field have made her an invaluable asset to the team.
Parker’s journey to excellence began at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, where she was ranked as the No. 3 recruit in the class of 2023 by Extra Innings. Her transition to collegiate softball has been seamless, earning her accolades such as NFCA Third-Team All-American and Big 12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player in her freshman year.
