Michigan football: 10 breakout players set to dominate in 2025, led by QB Bryce Underwood…
As the 2025 college football season approaches, Michigan fans are buzzing with excitement over a new wave of talent poised to lead the Wolverines. At the top of the list is five-star freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood, who brings elite arm strength, mobility, and leadership to Ann Arbor. He’s expected to step in immediately and energize the offense with his playmaking ability.
Joining Underwood are several other breakout stars. Running back Jordan Marshall looks ready to become a feature back with his balance and burst, while wide receiver Fredrick Moore has the speed to stretch defenses. Tight end Zach Marshall is also expected to emerge as a reliable target in Michigan’s pro-style offense.
On defense, linebacker Semaj Bridgeman is a rising star with his sideline-to-sideline speed, and defensive lineman Enow Etta is primed to wreak havoc up front. Edge rusher TJ Guy and cornerback Jyaire Hill are also poised for bigger roles after strong spring performances. Safety Brandyn Hillman’s versatility and physicality could make him a key piece in the secondary.
With a strong mix of veteran leadership and young breakout talent, Michigan is positioned to reload, not rebuild, in 2025—setting the stage for another Big Ten title run.
