Vegas Golden Knights Head Coach Bruce Cassidy spoke to the media at 9 a.m. PT today, offering reflections on the team’s performance this past season and setting the tone for what lies ahead. Cassidy emphasized the importance of consistency and health, noting that injuries to key players disrupted momentum during critical stretches. He praised the team’s depth and resilience but admitted there is room for improvement.

Following Cassidy, General Manager Kelly McCrimmon addressed several offseason considerations. He cited three key factors behind the team’s recent decisions: salary cap constraints, the need to inject youth into the lineup, and a focus on long-term competitiveness. McCrimmon confirmed that the organization is evaluating contracts and trade options to maintain flexibility while remaining a contender.

“Every decision we make is about keeping this team in a position to win now and in the future,” McCrimmon stated. He added that player development within the AHL Henderson Silver Knights system will be crucial heading into training camp.

As the Golden Knights prepare for what could be a transformative summer, both Cassidy and McCrimmon made it clear: the goal remains unchanged—bringing another Stanley Cup to Vegas.
