Celtic Football Club has unveiled bold plans for a major expansion and redevelopment of Celtic Park, aiming to modernise the iconic stadium and enhance fan experience. The project includes increasing the stadium’s capacity from just over 60,000 to approximately 70,000 seats, positioning Celtic Park among the largest football venues in the UK.
The club also plans to upgrade facilities with state-of-the-art hospitality suites, improved accessibility, enhanced fan zones, and sustainable energy systems. The redevelopment is designed to strengthen the club’s long-term commercial and sporting ambitions, ensuring Celtic Park remains a world-class venue for both football and events.
Celtic’s Chief Executive described the project as “a transformative investment in the club’s future,” promising that fans would remain central to the process.
