In a stunning announcement that has electrified the college basketball world, Florida Gators forward Alex Condon has declared his intention to return for the 2025 season, turning down a potential NBA career to lead his team back to the pinnacle of college basketball.
Condon, a 6-foot-11 sophomore from Perth, Australia, played a pivotal role in Florida’s national championship run, averaging 10.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game. His standout performance in the NCAA Tournament final against Houston, where he contributed 12 points, seven rebounds, and four steals, was instrumental in securing the title.
