Blues Trust is deeply saddened to announce the passing of former Trust Chair, Margaret Decker, who died on Wednesday 7 May at the age of 83. Margaret was a much-respected and admired figure among Birmingham City supporters, known for her unwavering dedication and tireless work to improve the standing of the Club and strengthen the voice of its supporters.

 

As Chair of the Trust, Margaret brought passion, integrity, and a profound love for Blues to everything she did. She played a key role in promoting transparency, accountability, and fan engagement during challenging times for the Club, earning the respect of fans and officials alike. Her commitment was driven not by personal gain, but by a lifelong devotion to Birmingham City and a belief in the power of supporter unity.

Even after stepping down from her role, Margaret remained an active and influential supporter, offering guidance and encouragement to those who continued the work she had helped to build. Her legacy is one of selfless service, strong principles, and deep affection for the Blues family.
